Physicists across the South East region have been recognised for excellent engagement activities in the second annual SEPnet Public Engagement Awards. SEPnet (the South East Physics Network) has awarded prizes to one project and three individual researchers from across their partner institutions for their exceptional contribution to engaging the public with their research.
The quality of all nominations was high and the judging panel had a difficult time picking the winners. A further four researchers were highly commended for their work. We are delighted to see the standard of public engagement in the region is rising.
