European Masters in Physics (MSc)
120 ECTS Credits
Brought to you by some of the finest minds in physics, this high quality European Masters programme follows the European method of study and involves a year of research working on pioneering projects such as ATLAS and LOFAR. The two year programme is tailored to you, and brings together many elements, so you can choose to be based at one of six world-class universities across South East England. That means that as well as the individual accolades of each university, you'll benefit from the combined expertise of some of the world's leading physics departments.
Delivering 120 ECTS credits, the European Masters is also in a unique position to offer compressed fees across your two-year study period. Students following this two-year pathway will pay for only nine months study in the first twelve months study period and the same again in the second study year. This amounts to a fee saving of 25%, which you can use to support your day-to-day living expenses. There are also some SEPnet scholarships available that cover tuition fees and in some instances provide up to €13,000 towards living expenses. You can choose to study in London, Southampton, Brighton, Guildford, Egham or Canterbury – all within easy reach of the rest of the UK, Europe and the world by air, Eurotunnel and ferry. Designed similarly to the Erasmus and Socrates programmes, the programme is open to UK students and international students who want to study physics in English.
Financial support
