Astrodomes

Mobile planetaria, or Astrodomes, are available from some of the SEPnet partners. Different partners offer shows across KS2 to KS5. SEPnet encourages schools to book astrodomes early in the school year as they are very popular. If none of the SEPnet Astrodomes are available, please visit the British Association of Planetaria to find an alternative.

University of Kent

The maximum capacity is 40 people, including both students and teachers. Due to the time and effort required to transport and inflate the dome, the sessions must reach at least 90 students (about 3 shows). The maximum number of shows a day is six. Please remember to timetable breaks.
