Diversity

SEPnet is committed to supporting diversity in its member Physics departments, both in their student population and in their academic staff and research environment. All our member Physics departments are actively engaged with the Athena-SWAN or Institute of Physics Project Juno to advance the careers of women in science and address under-representation of women in physics. We also strongly encourage students and researchers from under-represented sectors of society to engage with the networking opportunities that exist across SEPnet and with external physics and STEM groups – see the diversity strategy page for links.
