This site was created by Shaun Geaney for the SEPnet Student-led Online e-Learning Modules due to feeback from postgraduate students saying "I Wish I Has Known Earlier".

If you would like to get in touch, there are some contact details below. Note that email accounts will expire by mid 2019. I recommend contacting me via my LinkeIn. Let me know if you have any questions or have spotted any bugs or errors in the page, I will try and get them fixed as best I can!

Shaun Geaney

I am a doctoral student working on The Design of a Near-Field Scanning Microwave Microscope to Operate in the Quantum Regime. I am associated with Royal Holloway, University of London but I do all my research and spend my work time at The National Physical Laboratory (NPL). Prior to starting my PhD I had a job in programming in Manchester, UK, working on software that handled 3-D digital assets. During this time is when I learnt most of these best practices and found how it greatly improved my coding.
